Conference Dinner

You are cordially invited to a conference dinner held on 23 July 2024, in the Bethlehem Chapel (*) – a national cultural monument in the Old Town of Prague. The event will start with a concert of classical music, followed by a buffet with a large selection of cold and hot dishes. We believe you will enjoy informal discussions with other conference participants in this historical building.

Bethlehem Chapel was founded at the end of the 14th century for Bohemian sermons as the first “preaching” church in Europe. The chapel is intrinsically linked with the personality of Master Jan Hus. Jan Hus was a Roman Catholic priest and preacher who became famous as a leading Czech medieval reformer. He was a main critic of the moral decline of the Catholic Church. Due to its undisputed position in the history of the Czech nation, the chapel is used mainly for ceremonial events such as graduations and matriculations or meetings of the scientific council.

(*) Bethlehem Chapel is wheelchair accessible.
